Music Portrait Auburn

Details

We understand life gets busy, things get hectic. We want to make time for certain things, but some things get prioritized over others. Before you know it, it has been five years since your last family portrait and the kids are growing up and about to head off to college. Getting everyone's schedule lined up can be hectic, but the rewards are worth the effort. Let us capture this moment before it is gone.

In just one visit, we will take your portrait, view your options and make your selections so that you can get back to your life without any wasted time or long drawn out processes. Our custom art pieces typically take 5-6 months to complete and we have options for home delivery.

If anyone in your family has any hobbies or interests that you would like captured, such as; dance, playing a musical instrument, sports, fencing, etc... Please bring their outfit and any necessary props and we can capture individual portraits during the same session.

Furry family members are welcome. We do allow pets in your portraits with advanced notice for scheduling purposes. All we ask is that you consider whether your pet will be comfortable in an unfamiliar environment with strangers and bright flashing lights. Make sure you have their favorite treats and a comfort item for our more nervous pals. Some pets will handle this better than others, but we are experienced with more timid animals.

What To Wear

Do you feel stressed about what to wear for your portrait sitting? Consider the look you want to convey, a look that could last a lifetime.

For a truly breathtaking portrait, think black tie gala or formal wedding attire. A polished black tuxedo with a sharp watch and an elegant evening gown in deep jewel tones with the delicate diamond necklace and bracelet that you got for Christmas last year would make for a stunning and timeless portrait.

If a great cocktail party or night at the country club is more your style, then perhaps that new dark grey suit with a favorite tie and your favorite little black dress with a single strand of pearls would be a perfect fit.

Or are you more of a day at the art museum or Sunday brunch type? If that's the case, then a nice pair of dark slacks with a button up under a dark pullover sweater and a cute skirt or dress pants with a flattering blouse and simple necklace should do the trick.

For children the same can apply, perhaps instead of a full suit, dress pants with a button up complimented with a bow tie, suspenders, or a dark solid sweater. Dresses can be short or long in length, and we recommend a flowing skirt rather than tight fitting.

No need to wrinkle that suit. We have dressing areas available for you here. Complete with mirrors and enough light for makeup touchups after arrival.
